….back again….
It has been a hot minute since I’ve posted here. One of my goals for 2019 is to dedicate some more time to this space.
So what have we been up to? Well, school/teaching has occupied the majority of my time. Planning lessons, writing assessments, teaching, grading, emailing really means no rest for the weary. We moved to a new place almost two months ago, and have spent only about half that time here.
We’ve been traveling like crazy and are grateful that will slow down in the new year. Since October we have driven from Florida to Chicago via St. Louis and back twice and from Florida to San Antonio and flew from Florida to Utah for Thanksgiving. Which was just as exhausting as you think it is. It is not easy to have one family in one state, another family in another state, and your family in a third state. But for the holidays and major life events, we find it so important to travel to be there. Family is worth it.
